Rhea Ripley sends warning ahead of WWE RAW

A new WWE Women's World Champion will be crowned on tonight's live RAW episode. Rhea Ripley has just issued a warning to the women's division one week after she was forced to relinquish the title.

The Eradicator recently suffered a freak injury while brawling backstage with Liv Morgan. She opened last week's RAW by announcing that she had to relinquish the Women's World Championship. Ripley is expected to be out of action for several months. WWE will crown a new champion tonight with a Battle Royal on RAW.

Ripley took to X today to issue a pre-RAW statement, reminding everyone that she cannot be replaced or erased. She quoted lyrics from the "Heartache" single by From Ashes to New, which is the same band that created the "Hail the Crown" theme song for WWE 205 Live in 2016.

"You can daydream, but you can't erase or replace me. Heartache - @FromAshestoNew," Rhea Ripley wrote.

Ripley's championship reign ended at 379 recognized days, tied with Bayley's second reign for the longest ever under this lineage. She had been champion since defeating Charlotte Flair during Night One of WrestleMania 39 on April 1, 2023.

WWE announces potential new Women's World Champion

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced 15 participants for tonight's Battle Royal on RAW, which will see the winner capture the vacant Women's World Championship. Rhea Ripley relinquished the title last week due to an injury.

There have been rumors and fan speculation on potential surprise entrants for the Battle Royal on tonight's RAW. A potential role for top SmackDown stars and a potential spoiler on the winner were both revealed this afternoon. WWE is billing this as a "special" Battle Royal.

The following Superstars have been confirmed for tonight's Battle Royal:

  • Liv Morgan
  • Becky Lynch
  • Shayna Baszler
  • Zoey Stark
  • Natalya
  • Tegan Nox
  • Ivy Nile
  • Maxxine Dupri
  • Katana Chance
  • Kayden Carter
  • Nia Jax
  • Piper Niven
  • Chelsea Green
  • Candice LeRae
  • Indi Hartwell

Lynch is coming off a WrestleMania XL loss to Ripley, while Morgan is blamed for The Eradicator's injury and has been feuding with the Australian superstar for some time now. Lynch and Morgan seem to be the fan favorites to win.
