Rhea Ripley sends a warning to Charlotte Flair (Exclusive)

Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley have been two of WWE's most prominent superstars in recent years. In an exclusive interview, Ripley delivered a message to her absent long-time rival as she steps up her recovery from injury.

Flair tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown. The 14-time Women's Champion regularly posts training videos on her social media accounts. However, it is currently unknown when she will return to action.

Asked about Flair's in-ring comeback, Ripley told Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter what she would like to say to The Queen:

"Good luck. Mami is bigger and better than ever, and I beat you at WrestleMania 39, so you best believe that I can do it again. I love you, Princess. Get back and be safe because Mami's gonna put you back down." [2:09 – 2:23]

In the video above, Ripley opened up about feeling "extremely depressed" at one stage of her WWE career. The Aussie also addressed when she could feud with Bianca Belair in a much-anticipated storyline.

Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley's WWE history

In 2020, Charlotte Flair won the Women's Royal Rumble match before defeating Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36.

The bout was supposed to occur in front of over 60,000 fans at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it took place without any fans in attendance at WWE's Performance Center training facility in Orlando, Florida.

The roles were reversed three years later when Ripley won the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble match. She went on to capture the SmackDown Women's Championship from Flair at WrestleMania 39.
