Rhea Ripley shares excitement as rare footage is finally unveiled
WWE star Rhea Ripley shared a heartfelt reaction to an unseen match of hers finally being released. The Eradicator is currently involved in a rivalry with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day on WWE RAW.
Rhea Ripley defended the NXT UK Women's Championship against Dakota Kai in a dark match at WWE Evolution in 2018. The match was not shown during the Premium Live Event six years ago but has finally been released by the promotion this week. Ripley reacted to the match being released online and noted that she was excited to finally be able to watch it.
"Finally get to see it 🥹," she wrote.
The Judgment Day beat down The Terror Twins (Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest) on last night's episode of RAW. The Terror Twins defeated Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in a mixed tag team match at WWE Bash in Berlin earlier this month.
Rhea Ripley reveals WWE RAW star created her Mami nickname
Rhea Ripley recently disclosed that Damian Priest was the one who came up with her Mami nickname.
The 27-year-old held the Women's World Championship for 380 days before having to relinquish the title earlier this year. She successfully defended the title against Becky Lynch in her final match as champion at WrestleMania XL.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter, the former champion shared that The Archer of Infamy came up with her nickname. She noted that she wore a "I'm your Papi" shirt in the past, and Priest suggested she become Mami instead.
"I'm 27 now, I know who I am. The whole Mami persona, it's who I am. The Mami name might have came from Damian Priest because I wore a 'I'm your Papi' shirt and I was trying to run with the Papi thing and they were like, 'Maybe not.' He was like, 'You're Mami. Just be Mami.' I was like, 'You know what, you were right. I am Mami.'" [1:16 – 1:35]

Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 and recently claimed that she could beat the veteran again when she returns from injury. It will be interesting to see how Ripley gets revenge on her former faction in the weeks ahead following the attack by The Judgment Day last night on WWE RAW.
