Rhea Ripley showed her support for Jey Uso on social media today following the veteran's impressive victory last night on WWE RAW. Main Event Jey was in action in last night's main event and captured the first singles title of his career.

Jey Uso battled Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship last night on the red brand. The former Bloodline member connected with a Spear and followed up with a Uso Splash for the pinfall victory.

Uso celebrated in the crowd with the Intercontinental Championship as RAW went off the air. Following last night's show, Rhea Ripley took to her Instagram story to share a selfie of her wearing a "Yeet" shirt to show her support for Jey Uso.

Rhea Ripley will be challenging Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at WWE Bad Blood on October 5. It was announced during last night's edition of RAW that Dominik Mysterio would be suspended above the ring in a shark cage during the match next month.

Dirty Dom and Rhea Ripley were involved in a storyline relationship, but Mysterio betrayed The Eradicator at SummerSlam last month and aligned with Liv Morgan.

Former WWE writer reacts to Jey Uso's celebration being cut short on RAW

Wrestling legend Vince Russo shared his thoughts on Jey Uso's celebration being cut short last night on RAW due to the show going off the air.

Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Russo made an interesting claim regarding the production of last night's show. The veteran claimed that former WWE producer Kevin Dunn would never have made that mistake and ensured Uso got time to celebrate on the red brand.

"You know who's not gonna blow that, bro? Kevin Dunn. Say all you want about Kevin Dunn, bro, he did that a million times and I guarantee you that would never happen." [From 23:31 onwards]

Bron Breakker captured the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam last month by defeating Sami Zayn and held the title for 51 days. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the 26-year-old following his loss to Jey Uso on WWE RAW.
