Rhea Ripley teases dream WrestleMania match against WWE star (Exclusive)

Rhea Ripley has competed at WrestleMania five times so far in her WWE career. At a future event, the former Women's World Champion hopes to share the ring with Bianca Belair.

The EST and Ripley have been two of the company's top main roster talents in recent years. However, the WWE 2K24 video game cover stars have not faced each other in a televised singles match since their days in NXT in 2020.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Ripley compared her attributes with Belair's:

"Look, I love Bianca Belair. I have no beef with Bianca Belair. I think she's absolutely incredible at what she does. There's that competitor side of me that wants to step in the ring with her. I wanna see who's gonna come out victorious. I wanna see who's stronger, who's more agile. She might have me in the agile aspect, but stronger? I don't know, we're a little bit close." [2:34 – 2:56]

Rhea Ripley added that a long-awaited match against Bianca Belair is deserving of the WrestleMania stage:

"I can't wait for that day. I feel like it can't be wasted. I feel like that is such a high-key match that people wanna see and I wanna do and she wants to do. The two faces of WWE 2K24. I think that if we were to step in the ring together again, I think it would have to be WrestleMania-worthy." [2:59 – 3:23]

Rhea Ripley's WrestleMania debut came in 2020 when she lost the NXT Women's Championship to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36. Since then, the Aussie has defeated Asuka and Becky Lynch in title matches at WrestleMania 37 and WrestleMania XL, respectively. She also avenged her previous loss to Flair by beating The Queen at WrestleMania 39.

Ripley's only other appearance at WWE's biggest annual event came at WrestleMania 38. On that occasion, she teamed up with Liv Morgan in a fatal-four way tag team match. Naomi & Sasha Banks emerged with the win in a contest also featuring Carmella & Zelina Vega and Natalya & Shayna Baszler.
