Rhea Ripley was upset in real life after being "pinned" by Charlotte Flair right before WrestleMania

Rhea Ripley recently revealed she lost against Charlotte Flair while playing as herself in a WWE 2K game right before their match at WrestleMania this year.

The Eradicator challenged Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 39 and won the title. She made history that night by becoming the first WWE Superstar to win RAW, SmackDown, NXT, NXT UK, and WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. The title was rebranded to the Women's World Championship, and she has held the belt for more than 200 days.

Ripley recently revealed her experience playing against Charlotte Flair in a mixed tag team match where she worked alongside Austin Theory. It was a knockout bout where The Eradicator won the first few rounds but, in the end, was pinned by Flair.

Ripley admitted to being angry about the result in real life, especially considering it was right before WrestleMania. Rhea Ripley shared her experience in detail during a recent interview with Allan and Carly, where she was quoted as saying:

"It hit me right in the feelings, man. But it was pretty cool. Being a part of a video game is just something that I never really imagined, I never thought I would be able to be a part of a video game. I never thought I would have trading cards, action figures, or any of that. So, seeing all of it is just really mind-boggling. It makes me very proud of my journey, especially knowing everything I have gone through. It’s really cool to say and be a part of." (6:36 - 7:10)

Rhea Ripley is set to put her Women's World Championship on the line at Crown Jewel 2023. The high-stakes bout will see The Judgment Day leader defend her title in a fatal five-way match against Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez.

Ripley blamed RAW general manager Adam Pearce for "setting her up" and cut a promo on him during the contract signing this week. While the upcoming title match remains her primary focus, Ripley has quietly influenced each of The Judgment Day matches and feuds on the red brand.
