Rikishi firmly believes 31-year-old star will become Undisputed WWE Champion in 2025
Rikishi recently made a major prediction about a top Bloodline member potentially becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion next year. The 59-year-old legend believes that his son, Solo Sikoa, could clinch the Stamford-based company's topmost prize in 2025.
Sikoa stepped out of Roman Reigns' shadow and came into his own as the leader of The Bloodline this year. The 31-year-old star even came very close to winning the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2024 before Reigns played spoilsport and cost him a chance to become the top champion.
Solo Sikoa has also emerged as an effective leader, with Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and now even Bronson Reed, shining under his tutelage. Amid this, Rikishi predicted that it was only a matter of time before his son won the coveted title.
While speaking on his RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP podcast, The Samoan Stinker added that Sikoa could get to the top of the mountain in the Stamford-based promotion as the Undisputed WWE Champion in 2025.
"This is his time to Yeet...This is his time to Yeet. He's been out for a minute. Perfected his craft, waited for his turn. Waited for his opportunity. 2025, I see Solo Sikoa as [Undisputed] WWE Champion," Rikishi said. [0:22 - 0:40]
Rikishi makes bold prediction on Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa's future in WWE
Elsewhere in the same podcast, Rikishi predicted what could be the fallout of Roman Reigns pinning Solo Sikoa in the Men's WarGames Match at the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event. The Samoan Stinker pitched a wild idea, saying following his loss, Sikoa could approach Reigns and the two could form an unlikely alliance to take over the company:
"So, he's a made man. Whether they gave him 18 or 20 finishes, you know... you put Solo up on a marquee, fans are still gonna come because they still want to hate this guy. They still are not happy about this finish as well, right? And who knows, people might think this is over... because now you know Roman got the one, two, three on The Tribal Chief, right? So, who knows where it's going to go? Maybe The Tribal Chief comes 2.0, comes to Roman. Maybe they plot something to get together, to take over the whole WWE. Who knows."
With another successful chapter of The Bloodline Saga at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 in the history books, it remains to be seen what plans WWE has in store for the family drama moving forward.
