Rikishi seemingly discloses WWE's immediate plans for the OG Bloodline
WWE Hall of Famer and father of The Usos, Rikishi, openly spoke about the company's plans to reunite Roman Reigns, Jimmy, and Jey Uso. The fans love following a trail of breadcrumbs, and Triple H & Co. has given enough hints for them to arrive at this destination from a mile away.
During the latest episode of his podcast Off The Top, Rikishi articulated his honest feelings about Jimmy Uso, who has not been seen on WWE TV since April 2024.
According to the Hall of Famer, it will take a while for Jimmy to find his footing as a singles star, but it is a foregone conclusion that the latter will. The veteran also noted that it seems only a matter of time before the OG Bloodline reunite to take on Solo Sikoa's clan, consisting of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa:
"Me knowing my boys, the twins personally, they both got attitudes, man. It just so happened that Jey took off and he's doing his thing. When Jimmy does come back, I'm very confident it's not gonna take long, be it he comes back as a single or they decide to put him and Jey together to be able to join Roman, which I think, that would probably be the route to go," he stressed.
Rikishi added that even if WWE decides to simply bring back Jimmy Uso and do his own thing, the latter would find his footing in no time:
"But if they just decide to come back as a single for Jimmy, I think it won’t take long for Jimmy to find himself, to be able to come up with his own deal." [From 21:24 onwards]
Jimmy Uso was booted out of The Bloodline after WrestleMania XL by Solo Sikoa. The new self-appointed leader's reason was that Jimmy, and even Roman Reigns, failed to win their respective matches at The Show of Shows.
While Jimmy lost to Jey, The Tribal Chief's loss was bigger as he lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after holding for 1,316 days.
Roman Reigns is rumored to return this Friday; Jey Uso vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker
As per recent reports, the upcoming episode of SmackDown could feature the return of Roman Reigns, who was attacked a few weeks ago by Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. It was Jacob Fatu who made the difference after weeks of Reigns getting the upper hand.
Sikoa is also scheduled for the show, as he challenges Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a Steel Cage Match for the belt.
Meanwhile, this past Monday, Jey Uso headlined RAW, defeating Braun Strowman, Ilja Dragunov, and Pete Dunne to become the new number-one contender to Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.
Whether the bout gets added to WWE's next PLE, Bad Blood, or on the flagship show in the coming weeks, bears watching.
