Rikishi shares backing for The Usos reunion in Saudi Arabia ahead of WWE Crown Jewel
WWE legend Rikishi shared his support for Jimmy and Jey Uso's reuniting on social media today. The Usos appeared during the kickoff show for WWE Crown Jewel today in Saudi Arabia.
The Bloodline cost Jey Uso the Intercontinental Championship earlier this month on RAW. Main Event Jey got his revenge by costing The Bloodline the WWE Tag Team Championships on last Friday's episode of SmackDown.
The Usos appeared during the Crown Jewel Kickoff Show and the former Intercontinental Champion noted that it felt good to be reunited with his big brother again. Rikishi took to his Instagram story to share the video and you can check out the veteran's post by clicking here.
Solo Sikoa made himself the new Tribal Chief following Roman Reigns' loss to Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania XL. Sikoa also kicked Jimmy Uso out of The Bloodline after he lost to Jey Uso at The Show of Shows earlier this year.
Bill Apter sides with Rikishi over former WWE writer
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently backed Rikishi in a dispute with Vince Russo over how Jey Uso reacted to winning the Intercontinental Championship.
The 39-year-old defeated Bron Breakker to win the title on the September 23 edition of RAW. He only held the title for 28 days before dropping it back to Breakker. Vince Russo recently claimed Uso was far too emotional after winning the Intercontinental Championship, and suggested that the titles were props in the wrestling business. The Hall of Famer responded by challenging Russo to a match in a fiery rant.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Bill Apter sided with Rikishi in the dispute. Apter admitted that he got upset about Russo's comments and didn't understand how the veteran could view titles as a prop:
"I really got upset with this because the fans wanted him to win so badly," Apter said. "He won it and it meant so much to him that he was very emotional. It's not a prop. He won the championship. How could you look at it as a prop? Would you look at the World Championship as a prop? All these years, I can't believe Vince Russo said this and I'm hot at him for doing that. I agree with Rikishi, I really do." [2:40 – 3:11]

The legend is the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa in real life. It will be interesting to see if the 59-year-old ever gets involved in The Bloodline's storyline on WWE television.
