Rising WWE Superstar wants to end Sheamus' career
It seems someone in WWE's roster is not too pleased with veteran Sheamus stomping the grounds of Monday Night RAW in 2024. The rising star has now revealed that he has taken it upon himself to end the Irishman for good. The wrestler in question is Ludwig Kaiser.
Sheamus played a major role in his real-life friend Adam Copeland (a.k.a Edge)'s final WWE match in August 2023. He then took time off due to an injury and made his return in April 2024. The Irishman disclosed that shortly before his return he feared that his wrestling career was over owing to the injuries he sustained over the years.
The Celtic Warrior has also admitted in the recent past that some things are yet to be accomplished in his career, like winning the Intercontinental Championship for the first time. Ludwig Kaiser shared a disrespectful promo regarding the former WWE Champion on X/Twitter, claiming that it is no longer about defeating the latter. (As Kaiser already has a win over Sheamus on the June 3 episode of RAW.)
Watch the promo Kaiser shared on X below:
"Keep your head on a swivel @WWESheamus," he wrote.
Despite failing to qualify for the 2024 Money in the Bank Ladder Match on RAW this week, Sheamus seems to have moved on from it. The Irishman has evidently displayed his issues with Kaiser, Bron Breakker, and even Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn in recent times.
What Becky Lynch wrote about the former WWE Champion in her autobiography
Prior to taking a hiatus from WWE, Becky Lynch was riding high after the successful release of her autobiography Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl and a WrestleMania showdown with Rhea Ripley. She even won the Women's World Championship one last time before her hiatus.
In her book, the Irish-born wrestler detailed about having met Sheamus when the latter had already made a mark in the sports entertainment giant circa 2012-13, around the time she had signed with Stamford-based promotion. Lynch even revealed some advice he had given to her when she reached out to him while training for her tryout:
"I made sure to avail myself to every contact in my Rolodex, and reached out to Sheamus, who had now become one of WWE's biggest stars. 'Work on your conditioning and your promo. The wrestling will be the easy part for you,'" Sheamus advised me as though I were still the eighteen-year-old who had once impressed him in training session. 'Keep it simple' was the main message," wrote Lynch in her book.
Sheamus has been there and done that when it comes to almost everything there is to do in WWE. His rivalry with Gunther between 2022 to 2024 elevated both stars in their respective careers in different ways, with the veteran having been rejuvenated in the process. However, the Irishman disclosed that he had no intentions to step into the ring with the Austrian star again.
It is the climax of his feud with The Ring General that seamlessly segued into a program with Ludwig Kaiser. Where things go from here regarding The Celtic Warrior's wrestling career bears watching.
