Roman Reigns' 1,975-day streak comes to an end at WWE Crown Jewel

Roman Reigns did not have the Saturday night he would have hoped for as the OG Bloodline lost to Solo Sikoa's group at WWE Crown Jewel. The result also means that the OTC's impressive 1,975-day streak in Saudi Arabia has now come to an end.

Reigns is one of the most protected WWE Superstars of the current generation. The Head of the Table rarely loses matches and is coming off a historic 1,316-day title run. He also maintained an impressive record in Saudi Arabia, as the OTC has lost just a handful of matches in the Middle East.

Roman last got pinned in Saudi Arabia in June 2019 when he suffered a loss to Shane McMahon at Super ShowDown. However, his 1,975-day streak was broken at Crown Jewel as the Head of the Table got pinned by Solo Sikoa in the OG Bloodline vs. Bloodline 2.0 match.

While Roman Reigns lost a match in Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions 2023, it was Solo Sikoa who took the pinfall in the tag team match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The OTC has defeated Baron Corbin, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Goldberg, and LA Knight in the Middle Eastern country in the last five years.

What's next for Roman Reigns in WWE?

Roman Reigns suffered a rare loss in WWE as he and the Usos were defeated by the Bloodline. The heel faction continued to attack the babyfaces after the match, which led to Sami Zayn coming out to make the save. However, the former Honorary Uce accidentally ended up hitting the OTC to close the segment on a chaotic note.

While there is tension between the OG Bloodline members, all signs point towards the group coming together to take on Solo Sikoa's faction at Survivor Series: WarGames. However, it will be interesting to see how Sami Zayn and Reigns mend fences.
