Roman Reigns advertised for major upcoming WWE eventĀ

Roman Reigns' WWE schedule has been a hot topic of conversation over the past few years since it has been made clear that the former Universal Champion works on a part-time status.

The OTC returned to WWE TV at SummerSlam 2024 following his hiatus after losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania XL. In his absence, Solo Sikoa booted out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and took over The Bloodline. It has since been confirmed that Reigns will be working the remaining three Premium Live Events for 2024, as well as a handful of SmackDown shows leading up to December.

It was announced earlier today that the tickets for the 2025 Royal Rumble would go on sale in November 2024, and one of the stars advertised for the event was Roman Reigns. There are six stars on the poster: Rhea Ripley, CM Punk. Liv Morgan, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Bianca Belair, all of whom are expected to be part of the event.

That being said, the fact that at least two of the six names will be champions when The Royal Rumble rolls around makes it unlikely that they will all be featured in the traditional gimmick matches on February 1, 2025.

Will Roman Reigns participate in the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match?

The upcoming Royal Rumble could be the first time since 2021 that Reigns wouldn't walk into the marquee PLE as the reigning world champion.

If that's the case, then he would be eligible to be part of the Men's Royal Rumble Match for the first time since 2020. Reigns was the runner-up on that occasion. The Original Tribal Chief last won the gimmick match in 2015.

CM Punk and a host of other names, including Bron Breakker, Seth Rollins, and John Cena could also be part of the match, but it's likely that Reigns will be someone who will be targeted. This could also be Reigns' way back into the title picture if he fails to win back the title from Cody Rhodes in the coming months.
