Roman Reigns' biggest rival seemingly hints at WrestleMania match after WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns has established his dominance in WWE - something that's very necessary if someone has had a 1000-day plus title reign. However, throughout his defenses, there have been some stars who stuck out as more likely to be the ones to finally defeat him. One such star is Cody Rhodes, and it appears he's hinting at another WrestleMania match.

Rhodes and Roman Reigns are familiar with each other at The Show of Shows. The two had a match at WrestleMania 39 that fans expected Rhodes to win. Unfortunately, he didn't, and Reigns continued his reign of terror, holding on to the title.

However, there were always rumors that Rhodes was not done with Reigns. Although he changed brands in the draft, there was always the belief that he'd eventually return to face Reigns and take the title from him.

That might have been exactly what was hinted at tonight during this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, where the two confronted each other. Rhodes had won his tag team title match against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller when the Tribal Chief confronted him while walking out.

Rhodes appears to hint that this was the start of the feud fans want at WrestleMania - Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns.

"On our way," he wrote.

Whether this results in it or not remains to be seen now.
