Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and other big names on 29-year-old WWE star's list of dream opponents for "banger" matches
Massive WWE names like CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and others have paid their dues to reach the pinnacle of success and can be counted as some of the best in the business. Naturally, up-and-coming stars aspire to share the ring with these seasoned veterans. Among them, NXT Superstar Tony D'Angelo recently expressed his desire to face certain dream opponents when he eventually transitions to the main roster.
Recently, D'Angelo conquered Oba Femi, ending the latter's 273-day reign to become the new NXT North American Champion. This victory marked another significant milestone in Tony D's impressive three-year career in the company, which includes two NXT Tag Team Championships and one Heritage Cup Championship.
In a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, the 29-year-old star was asked which main roster names he'd like to face in the future. Tony D'Angelo stated that he would love to get the chance to battle top-tier WWE Superstars like Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk in "banger" matches.
"I would love to wrestle with Roman, Cody, Randy, AJ Styles, CM Punk. All these guys, I would love to get in there and mix it up and learn from and put on banger," he said. [From 12:07 to 12:20]

Tony D'Angelo on creating magic with WWE champion
The leader of the D'Angelo Family and the reigning Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker have shared the ring before, but only in tag team action. Earlier this year in February, The Dog of WWE and Baron Corbin defeated Tony D and Channing Lorenzo to claim the NXT Tag Team Championship.
During the same interaction on the MuscleManMalcolm, Tony D'Angelo claimed he would like to cross paths with Bron Breakker on the main roster of WWE.
"I think whenever our paths cross, it will be a hell of a match [against] Bron Breakker. I came up with the guy. He’s a special talent and I think we could make some magic in the ring," The Don of NXT said. [From 11:35 to 11:50]
It remains to be seen if fans will witness singles clashes between Bron Breakker and Tony D'Angelo on the main roster in the near future.
