Roman Reigns & CM Punk may have had a hand in major WWE star's injury at Survivor Series, claims veteran
Roman Reigns and CM Punk might have contributed to a major injury at Survivor Series: WarGames. Wrestling veteran Dr. Tom Prichard seemingly agreed with a fan about the potential role that Reigns and Punk played in Bronson Reed's injury.
At last Saturday's Survivor Series in Vancouver, The OG Bloodline teamed up with The Second City Saint to beat Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. One of the biggest spots during the match was Reed's Tsunami off the top of the cage. He almost hit it on The OTC before Punk saved him at the last minute.
On the latest episode of the Taking You To School podcast with Prichard and John Poz, a fan asked Dr. Tom about his thoughts on Reed's big spot. The fan thought that CM Punk pulling Roman Reigns a little bit too late might have thrown off Reed and caused the injury.
Here was his answer:
"I didn't see it, but that could be it. Who knows? That's a big boy going up there. The balance up there for a minute then going straight down… It could have been timing. It could have been a lot of things. Kudos to him for going up there," Prichard said. [From 23:33 to 24:04]

Roman Reigns and CM Punk were seconds away from disaster as Bronson Reed was very close to hitting the Tsunami. Reed suffered an ankle injury and was in a walking boot after the event. He's set to undergo further testing to confirm the severity of the injury and how long he'll be out of action for, as per the Wrestling Observer Radio.
Roman Reigns comments on possible changes to WWE on Netflix
Some fans were excited about WWE RAW's move to Netflix since they could get a more edgier product featuring cursing and blood. However, WWE president Nick Khan confirmed to reporters during the WWE on Netflix launch that there will be no changes to the parental rating.
Roman Reigns shared the same sentiment in an interview on Sports Illustrated last week, knowing that simple storytelling pulls in the viewers.
"I don't see the point or the need. If we feel that need, then yes, I feel I can make that happen to. That we're going to raunch it up. Yeah, I think some stuff, as long as it's logical and makes sense and it’s not insulting," Reigns said. [H/T: Fightful]
WWE RAW officially moves to Netflix on Monday, January 4, 2025. It's part of the company's 10-year deal with the streaming giant.
