Roman Reigns' cousin gives a major update on his return ahead of SummerSlam (Exclusive)
WWE star Roman Reigns has not been seen on TV since WrestleMania XL. His last match was on Night Two of Mania when he faced Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
With SummerSlam just around the corner, fans have been clamoring for Reigns to return to the company. In his absence, Solo Sikoa has emerged as the new leader of the Bloodline and is even calling himself the new Tribal Chief. Solo will be taking on Cody Rhodes at the biggest event of the summer for the Undisputed WWE title.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Samoan family member Afa Anoa'i Jr. mentioned that Roman Reigns was part of his family and he met with the star during his time off. He stated that despite Roman's time away from the ring, the Tribal Chief was still training and in great shape.
"When we take time off, we're still ready. He's training, he's still ready to go. He's been top dog for so long that just doesn't go away with a couple of months off. So when he comes back, he'll be ready, trust me." [From 23:35 - 23:52]
The new Bloodline has laid out anyone who stood in their way over the last few weeks. This list also includes the Wiseman Paul Heyman.
It will be interesting to see if Heyman plays a role in Roman Reigns returning at SummerSlam.
