Roman Reigns in the dark about his Wiseman while CM Punk takes charge, according to WWE personality
The wrestling world has been buzzing after CM Punk showed up on SmackDown to join Roman Reigns. The Straight-Edge Superstar will be heading to WarGames alongside the Original Tribal Chief, The Usos, and Sami Zayn.
Paul Heyman pulled off a major coup this past Friday as he enlisted Punk as the fifth member of Team Roman. The Best in the World rushed down to the ring and helped the OG Bloodline fight off Solo Sikoa and his henchmen.
Recently on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, wrestling analyst Sam Roberts detailed that Roman looked completely clueless during the segment. He pointed out that CM Punk was in on the plan, but it seemed that Heyman and Roman were not on the same page. The analyst explained that Roman was in an uncomfortable position heading into Survivor Series.
"Now Roman Reigns, for the first time as it concerns The Wiseman, is in the dark, whereas CM Punk appears to know exactly what he's doing in the ring. This is not a position that Roman Reigns likes to be in whatsoever. But that's the position that he finds himself in. Maybe he put himself in that position." [From 6:48 - 7:08]
Roman Reigns cannot trust CM Punk
Earlier this week, Roman Reigns spoke about teaming up with CM Punk at Survivor Series WarGames.
During an exclusive interview with Sports Illustrated, the Original Tribal Chief mentioned that Punk seemed like that guest at Thanksgiving who just showed up without an invitation.
"And then Punk is like this crazy... how did this even happen? Who are you here with? What I mean, like, checking the guest list... hold on, how did you get in here?"
Punk and Roman have a complicated history in the WWE. The two megastars will now have to battle side by side if they hope to put down The Bloodline 2.0.
It will be interesting to see if they can keep their egos aside and take down Solo Sikoa and his henchmen.
