Roman Reigns is due to return soon after recent events on WWE SmackDown, says veteran (Exclusive)
While Roman Reigns is currently away from WWE, a veteran believes that recent events will force him to make a return. According to the veteran in question, Bill Apter, Paul Heyman being slammed through a desk was the last straw.
On a recent episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman finally cut ties with Solo Sikoa after refusing to acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief. This led to Jacob Fatu and the others attacking him, and putting him through the announcer's table in a fit of rage. Heyman was later carried out of the arena.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter stated that he was scared for Paul Heyman during the spot. He further added:
"Paul Heyman went through the table. I thought he was gonna have a freaking heart attack. I really did. So I think similar to the Judgment Day, Roman Reigns is gonna come back and say yes I am still your Head of the Table. Your Tribal Chief. And he, and Heyman, Jey Uso and maybe Jimmy Uso will come back, will have their own Bloodline affiliation and they will feud with the other guys. With the other Bloodline. That's what I think is gonna happen." [7:40 onwards]
Mark Henry also had similar views about Roman Reigns' return to WWE
According to Mark Henry, The Head of the Table will be back sooner than later to exact revenge on Solo Sikoa and his faction.
Speaking on Busted Open, the veteran stated that Roman's WWE return will mark his face turn.
"I'm just saying, Roman [Reigns] is gonna come back the biggest babyface than Shawn Michaels. And I mean, there's been a lot of great babyfaces, but nobody saw one like The Heartbreak Kid, baby. I've seen girls in the front row crying, with Shawn reaching out to them, like, 'Help me! They're killing me!' Every time that I've seen somebody jump over the barricade to go help somebody, it was somebody jumping over the barricade to help Shawn,'' he said.
For now, it remains to be seen if Roman will be back in action soon in WWE.
