Roman Reigns facing 6 ft 2 in star (not the Rock) at WWE WrestleMania 41 looks likely, says veteran (Exclusive)
Over the last few years, the WWE Universe has been salivating at the thought of a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock. However, wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes that the duo will not be colliding at WrestleMania 41 next year, and the OTC will instead face Solo Sikoa.
Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns have been embroiled in a feud for the last several months. The current Bloodline leader pinned the OTC at Crown Jewel to pick up the victory for his team. However, the feud between the two sides is far from over.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo noted that he could see The Rock facing Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, leaving Reigns free for a match against Solo Sikoa.
"I think it’s going to be The Rock and Cody cause Rock is winning the Royal Rumble. I think this is why we saw Solo go over [at Crown Jewel]. I think they are gonna go with Solo and Roman. I think they are going to try to build Solo from now till then."
The former WWE writer added that the feud could have been more interesting if the 6ft 2 in superstar was booked better:
"Reigns-Sikoa could have been something if they would have booked him [Solo] right. Nobody should’ve touched him in Regins’ absence. Nobody. You wanna beat up the henchmen, beat them all day. If you really wanna get heat on that guy, nobody should’ve touched him until Reigns came back."
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa look to be heading toward a WarGames match with their respective teams. Sami Zayn is slated to be present on WWE SmackDown, where he can finally reunite with his old faction members.
