Roman Reigns finally breaks silence after teaming up with Cody Rhodes in WWE
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes did the unthinkable on WWE SmackDown last week as they joined forces. The two will now take on the Bloodline at Bad Blood. Following the shocking turn of events, the Original Tribal Chief sent a cryptic message on social media.
Last week on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship successfully. However, his victory celebration was short-lived as the Bloodline attacked him after the match. Roman Reigns returned to make the save for the American Nightmare as the duo took down the heel faction.
Solo then proposed a tag team match for Bad Blood, with him and Jacob Fatu teaming together against Reigns and Rhodes. While the WrestleMania 40 opponents were initially reluctant, they decided to team together to take down the heel duo. Reigns, who has been silent on social media for the last few months, took to X to post a picture of himself and the American Nightmare.
WWE veteran proposed how Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teaming together should go
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teaming up together is one of the unlikeliest events in WWE history. However, the duo will join forces at Bad Blood to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Wrestling veteran Bully Ray pitched an idea for the match, noting that it would be interesting if the Original Tribal Chief never tagged in the American Nightmare as the whole storyline is based around the Bloodline.
"I would like to see them go with a completely different psychology to this match. ... Imagine if Roman started the match and never, ever tagged out to Cody because it is Bloodline business. Remember Roman said in the promo — This is family business. This is Bloodline business," Bully mused. "But what if Roman never tagged out, until he absolutely positively needed to tag out, or Cody tagged himself in."
Both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will be present on SmackDown tonight, where they will address their union. One can expect a big showdown of the duo with the Bloodline, possibly ending in a physical confrontation.
