Roman Reigns goes viral following a vicious beatdown by Jacob Fatu and The Bloodline
WWE SmackDown didn't go as per Roman Reigns' plans when Jacob Fatu returned and viciously took out the Original Tribal Chief alongside Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. After the event, Reigns' face became a viral meme.
Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest WWE star in modern times, and the Original Tribal Chief returned to the Stamford-based promotion with a mission at SummerSlam in Ohio. The former Universal Champion went after Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline's new iteration.
On the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Solo Sikoa agreed to give the Ula Fala back and acknowledge Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief. However, Sikoa had a plan in mind, as Jacob Fatu returned to WWE and decimated the Original Tribal Chief to close the show.
The Original Tribal Chief went viral when The Samoan Werewolf attacked the star. The image of Reigns' face has gone viral, with over 600k views in less than a day. It's not the first time The Original Tribal Chief has made records on the internet, as his return at WWE SummerSlam 2024 garnered over 100 million social media views for the company.
A match with Jacob Fatu is not on the cards for Roman Reigns - Reports
Earlier this year, Roman Reigns' legendary run ended when Cody Rhodes aligned with several notable names and veterans at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
However, this led to Solo Sikoa forcefully taking over The Bloodline and changing the faction's presentation by adding new members such as Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu in the coming months.
The new Tribal Chief of Bloodline failed at The Biggest Party of the Summer in Ohio when The Original Tribal Chief returned with vengeance on his mind. Interestingly, Jacob Fatu did not attack the star, as he looked hurt following his attack on Cody Rhodes.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), a match between Reigns and Jacob Fatu is not on the cards. A potential bout would most likely happen only after Reigns faces Sikoa.
On the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The Original Tribal Chief suffered The Samoan Werewolf's wrath and a vicious beatdown by the villainous faction to close the show.
