Roman Reigns makes a bold claim ahead of WWE's "biggest deal of all time"

WWE is gearing up for a major milestone with a substantial deal in the works. Roman Reigns recently made a significant comment regarding the upcoming Netflix partnership.

The Original Tribal Chief and Paul Heyman reunited outside of the company and made an on-stage appearance on Bloomberg Power Players New York. Reigns declared that WWE's Netflix agreement was a game-changer, hailing it as the "biggest deal of all time" in the company's history.

While some fans miss the edgier content of the Attitude Era, Roman Reigns has risen to prominence in a landscape with PG guidelines. In response to a question about whether the company should use a potential Netflix move to create edgier content, the former Bloodline leader shared his honest thoughts.

Roman Reigns jokingly said that allowing Heyman to deliver nonstop Hall of Fame speeches could push the envelope in terms of content. However, the former Undisputed WWE Champion noted he prefers the challenge of storytelling within a PG context, as it allows him to connect with a broader audience.

"If we allow Paul to do Hall of Fame speeches nonstop, we'll definitely push that envelope. For me, I've always enjoyed the challenges of being PG. No offense to our predecessors and the people who came before us and the ratings they revolved around, but to me, it's more challenging to be able to tell these stories. It also allows you to connect with a broader audience to connect to, which I just really feel is always the goal. We want to reach as many people as possible," said Reigns.

The current WWE Superstar emphasized the importance of finding a balance between pushing the envelope and adhering to the company's values and morals. Roman Reigns continued:

"I think there is a fine limit to where you cross that threshold to where you push people off of the product. I think there is a nice range we can play with and push the envelope in certain senses, but I think we need to stick to our values and morals we've set in place and the culture we have now."
