Roman Reigns makes major confession about planning to steal from Brock Lesnar for 5 years before The Bloodline formed

Roman Reigns has confessed to "snatching" what made Brock Lesnar powerful from him. He has spoken about it recently.

Brock Lesnar has been gone from the action for a long time, but even when he was here last, the star did not have an important element to him - Paul Heyman. Heyman has been inexorably linked with Lesnar over his entire career, and it's only been since he started working with Roman Reigns that Lesnar had to try to do things on his own. This was the first such time since back in the day when Heyman betrayed Lesnar for The Big Show.

Speaking on the A&E Biography: WWE Legends episode of Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns spoke about watching Brock Lesnar and Heyman work together for years from the time he was feuding with The Beast.

He said that watching them maneuver and be the powerful duo that they were, he knew he had to steal it. The two had their first match at WrestleMania 31, but it would be five years before the two teamed up together as The Bloodline. It was a plan for Reigns that came together after a long time.

"Watching how Paul and Brock were maneuvering at the time, it was a powerful duo, it really was. So much so, I had to snatch it."

Reigns went on to praise Heyman and the contribution he had made to his career.

"He's such a great mind for the business creatively."

Roman Reigns also said that working with Heyman made things much easier for him so that he could just focus on wrestling and leaving the rest to him.

"I can lock in and focus on just what I need to focus on. He just makes it easier."

As the Wiseman, Heyman would arrange things for Reigns on-screen, but the same appears to be the case when it came to dealing with what was happening backstage as well.
