Roman Reigns may come back with other WWE stars instead of The Usos, feels Rikishi
WWE Superstar Roman Reigns made a halfway successful return a few weeks ago on SmackDown. The former Undisputed Champion had sabotaged Solo Sikoa’s championship match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam and answered his call to show up the next week. While he had retrieved the Ula Fala, he had to part ways with it seconds later due to Jacob Fatu.
The aftermath of the Samoan Werewolf’s entrance was a demolished Reigns, following which he has made no appearances. Commenting on his next move, WWE legend Rikishi said on his Off The Top podcast that he is probably building a team. Moreover, he also noted that Roman Reigns could be joining hands with superstars other than The Usos for retaliation.
“It seems like there's going to be some type of war games or something. We're just waiting for Roman to introduce his possibly OG Bloodline. You know, there's been stuff leaked out there with, you know, back in the day with Roman, Seth Rollins, and what's his name from AEW? (Jon Moxley) So who's to say, right? Because at this point right now, we see what Solo's doing. He's just recruiting people left and right. But in the meantime, Roman's kind of been real quiet. He just made his appearance, but now he's like, we're waiting, right? Where is he going to go from there? Does he come back with Jimmy and Jey? Or does he come back with Seth Rollins and Moxley?” [From 25:30 - 26:48]
While Rikishi talked about a possible Shield reunion, there is little chance of that happening. But the reconstruction of the original Bloodline with Sami Zayn and The Usos seems like a possible route the company could take.
Reigning WWE champions offer to help Roman Reigns
While Roman Reigns might be looking for a chance to strike, Solo Sikoa has been trying to extend his influence beyond Friday Night SmackDown. Recently, he sent Jacob Fatu and The Tongan Brothers to NXT to take out their rivals, The Street Profits, and ruin their tag team championship match.
However, The Bloodline went overboard and also attacked defending champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Following this, Frazer took to X (fka Twitter) and said that Fraxiom was willing to lend a hand to Roman Reigns in his war against Sikoa.
"Fraxiom would like to offer their services to The Tribal Chief… The original one," tweeted Nathan Frazer.
While an alliance with the dominant champions would be handy, Frazer’s help would also come with some emotional baggage for Reigns. The developmental star has been helped with his training at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy by none other than Seth Rollins. Moreover, Frazer has also jokingly referred to The Visionary as his ‘father’ figure in pro wrestling once.
With Nathan Frazer’s fighting style being almost a spitting image of Rollins’, Reigns would be staring at the shadow of his biggest nemesis. It would be interesting to see if the former Undisputed WWE Champion actually teams up with Fraxiom to regain the Ula Fala.
