Roman Reigns may have a cursed antagonist after him from WWE RAW, popular name speculates
Roman Reigns knocked Solo Sikoa down a peg with the help of his family, Sami Zayn, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. However, his problems are far from over.
In the last four years, Reigns has made a lot of enemies. While it appears The OTC is making honest attempts to turn over a new leaf, the ghosts of his past will come hunting. Has a certain Scottish Warrior begun doing the same already? According to WWE analyst Sam Roberts, Drew McIntyre's Clash at the Castle "curse" began two years ago on the day The Tribal Chief beat him on his home turf.
On Notsam Wrestling, WWE analyst Sam Roberts speculated that Drew McIntyre could be hunting down The OG Bloodline in order to get to The OTC. Last week, McIntyre returned and made a point when he attacked Sami Zayn. He is also accused of being Jey Uso's mugger backstage.
"Maybe the idea is that Drew McIntyre is going to feud with every member of The Bloodline on his way to getting to Roman Reigns. First, he'll have to take out Sami Zayn. Then, he'll have to take out maybe Jimmy Uso. Then he'll have to take out Jey Uso, then he can face Roman Reigns. It's possible, because ultimately, Roman Reigns is the one who beat him on his home soil. Roman Reigns is the one who started the curse of Clash at the Castle for Drew McIntyre," Roberts said. "I think that's where Drew's problem lies." [From 27:25 to 28:15]
When The Tribal Chief pinned Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle 2022, the deafening reception for McIntyre stopped. The wind was sucked out of the arena. At the 2024 edition of the event, the Scot once again lost in the main event. This time, thanks to CM Punk, he lost to Damian Priest.
Roman Reigns also needs to keep an eye on CM Punk
At Survivor Series: WarGames, CM Punk assisted Reigns to victory. But it comes with a price. The Best in the World informed Paul Heyman that when the time comes, he will come knocking on The Wiseman's door. In the aforementioned podcast, Sam Roberts predicted that Punk is taking the long route to get to The OTC because there is something big in it for the former AEW World Champion.
For the time being, though, it appears Punk and Reigns are on the same page. The OTC even has a name for them as a unit.
