Roman Reigns may have failed to reach Paul Heyman due to incident that occurred in April, says WWE analyst

Roman Reigns tried to call his Wiseman, Paul Heyman, last Friday on WWE SmackDown. However, he failed to reach him as the Hall of Famer's phone was disconnected or out of service. WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested an incident from April could be the reason for that.

After the Original Tribal Chief's loss to Cody Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match in April at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa started his plan to take over on the following SmackDown. The former enforcer and the debuting Tama Tonga took out Jimmy Uso. As Heyman watched in fear, he attempted to call Reigns. Nevertheless, Sikoa snatched the phone and smashed it with his foot.

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts pointed out that that incident could be why the Original Tribal Chief failed to reach his Wiseman last Friday on WWE SmackDown.

"This is going back to April. And people go, 'Well, he smashed the Roman Reigns phone. So, now Roman has no way to get in contact with him.' And well, that could be the case. I'm not saying it's an unfounded theory because everything counts, and that's what makes this all so very complicated. Everything absolutely counts now more than ever. It's rule number two [of Notsam Wrestling]. Everything counts. And if we've been watching the product, there's been breadcrumbs traced back and forth," he said.

The 41-year-old recalled his interview with Heyman earlier this year, in which the latter stated that no frame of footage was done by accident in The Bloodline storyline. Hence, he did not rule out that the phone smash moment was the reason Reigns lost communication with The Wiseman.

"If you remember that interview that Paul Heyman did with me at Fanatics Fest, he said it to all of us. There's not one frame of footage that's done by accident when it comes to The Bloodline. So, maybe that moment when Solo Sikoa smashed Paul Heyman's phone was the moment the communication between Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns ceased. And now Roman can't get in contact with Paul Heyman." WWE legend thinks The Usos could bring back Paul Heyman to help Roman Reigns

Over the past few weeks, Roman Reigns reunited with The Usos and Sami Zayn as they head into a WarGames match against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline at Survivor Series.

However, the OG Bloodline has been struggling against the new version of the faction. After failing to reach Paul Heyman, Reigns seemed extremely distressed.

On the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry suggested The Usos could be the ones to bring back The Wiseman to end their cousin's suffering.

"Maybe it's The Usos when they see that Roman is suffering. And, you know, then that way Roman would be able to do what I was saying earlier. He's like, 'Hey, you see the act of kindness that your cousins did.' And just have it go from that point," he said.

It would be interesting to see if Paul Heyman will reunite with the OG Bloodline ahead of Survivor Series.
