Roman Reigns must gift top WWE star, suggests veteran, for saving him from a dangerous spot
Roman Reigns walked out with a win alongside his team at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames in Canada. Recently, Dutch Mantell commented on Bronson Reed's dangerous spot from the cage and stated The Original Tribal Chief should gift the star as he saved him by holding back.
Survivor Series: WarGames was filled with high stakes as the two factions went head-to-head in Canada. During the match, Bronson Reed went to the top of the cage and missed a Tsunami on Roman Reigns when CM Punk moved The Original Tribal Chief out of the way.
Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran spoke about the dangerous spot and stated Bronson Reed might've held himself back a bit during the fall. Moreover, he said Roman Reigns should be thankful that the spot didn't connect and should gift The Colossal for it.
"It looked like Roman [Reigns]; I'm sure it was a set-up spot, but Roman was trying to get off the table, I think. It didn't look like a botch; it didn't look anything like that. It was just a bit late, and the guy who broke his ankle was trying to maybe hold back a little bit to protect him. In the process, he got hurt himself. If I were Roman Reigns, I would send him a $5000 Christmas gift," Mantell said. (From 1:05:20 to 1:06:00)
Major WWE star broke character to praise Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns garnered love from the fans as the best heel in the business when he became The Tribal Chief. The Original Tribal Chief has the crowd's support, but Kevin Owens hasn't forgotten his past feud with the star and The Bloodline.
In a video titled WWE Retrospective, Kevin Owens broke character and spoke highly of The Original Tribal Chief. In the video, The Prizefighter discussed his previous encounter with Reigns and stated he respects him a lot.
"The thing about this is I got to be in the ring with two guys I was very close with, Big Cass and Seth [Rollins], and Roman [Reigns], who I wasn't so close with, but I really respected him a lot," Owens said.
Owens might not agree with it now, but The Original Tribal Chief has been a crucial part of The Prizeifghter's career on WWE's main roster.
