Roman Reigns needs to bury differences with 39-year-old star to take down The Bloodline, claims ex-WWE name

Former WWE manager Jim Cornette recently spoke about Roman Reigns taking a beating from The Bloodline. For the last two weeks, Roman and Jimmy Uso have been taking a battering from Solo Sikoa and his henchmen.

On the October 11 edition of SmackDown, Jimmy was in a match against Solo. The new Tribal Chief won the match with help from Jacob Fatu and issued a beatdown on his brother after the encounter. Roman tried to help, but he was also bogged down by the numbers game. The same treatment was handed to Reigns and Uso the following week as The Bloodline once again beat them down.

On a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience, the veteran detailed that the segment was brilliantly executed. He pointed out that Jimmy and Roman needed backup, and that could be in the form of Jey. Cornette felt the Original Tribal Chief needed to squash his issues with the 39-year-old star for the greater good.

"Roman came out and nailed everybody, and then he got in the fight with Solo, where Fatu could come up from behind. Fatu beat up Roman Reigns and Moonsaulted Uso, and Solo spiked Roman. The heels carried the day there. Again, poor old Roman and poor old Jimmy there were outnumbered. So they gotta get Jey back, whether Roman wants to Yeet or not. And they gotta get some more Bloodline." [From 2:09 - 2:47]

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso had an uneasy exchange on SmackDown

Jey Uso made an appearance on the blue brand last Friday. The star walked out to confront The Bloodline and asked Solo Sikoa not to divide the family.

Later, the former Intercontinental Champion came face-to-face with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. The tensions were visible as Roman and Jey interacted. The Original Tribal Chief told Jey that he was proud of him.

However, Jey didn't want any part of it and walked off, indicating that he was not going to join them in their battle against The Bloodline. However, things may have changed since last week after The Bloodline cost Jey his Intercontinental Championship.

It will be interesting to see if Jey Uso will appear on SmackDown this week to exact revenge on Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline.
