Roman Reigns officially confirmed for upcoming WWE show
Roman Reigns has officially been advertised for an upcoming WWE event. The Original Tribal Chief is set to make his return very soon.
The 39-year-old star was last seen on the August 16 episode of SmackDown, where he got assaulted by The Bloodline. He managed to get his Ula Fala back during the show, but he was blindsided by Jacob Fatu and put through the announce table. On SmackDown this Friday night, Solo Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Steel Cage.
Roman Reigns has been promoted for the show, as he was included in a poster alongside other stars that WWE shared on X to advertise the blue brand airing on USA Network. This means it's confirmed that he will return on SmackDown this week.
Roman Reigns will most likely show up during the main event of WWE SmackDown to confront his cousin Solo Sikoa.
Roman Reigns comments on John Cena calling him the greatest of all time
The former Universal Champion and The Cenation Leader have faced each other multiple times in WWE. Roman was already the Tribal Chief when they wrestled at SummerSlam in 2021.
John Cena named Roman Reigns as the greatest of all time in an interview, and when The OTC was asked to share his thoughts on it during an appearance on Bloomberg Live, he stated:
"This is probably normally where I'd be like Paul, brag about me. But at the end of the day, it's subjective... As far as what John said, I kind of witnessed and observed his early reign, if you will, as being WWE's top guy, the face of the company. So, nobody knows better than everything that it takes to get to that point and to even be in the conversation. So, I guess I'm just going to agree with him," said Roman.
John Cena interfered in Roman's match against Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania XL, which saw him nail The Head of the Table with an Attitude Adjustment.
