Roman Reigns paid apparent tribute to absent WWE name during SmackDown
Roman Reigns apparently paid tribute to an absent WWE name during the latest edition of SmackDown. This person hasn't been seen since he was taken out by The Bloodline.
Since Roman Reigns turned heel a couple of years ago, Paul Heyman has been the one constant in his life. Even when The Usos turned on him, Heyman displayed unwavering loyalty towards The Tribal Chief.
Paul Heyman even turned on his former client, Brock Lesnar, and aligned himself with Reigns. Despite knowing the perils that would befall him if he didn't acknowledge Solo Sikoa, Heyman still chose to stand by Reigns. Their bond over the past few years has only strengthened further.
Although The Bloodline kicked out Paul Heyman on the June 28 episode of SmackDown, it seems like Reigns hasn't forgotten about him. This past week on the blue brand, Reigns showed up and was making his way to the ring when he stopped by the steel steps and looked over his left shoulder. This was probably his way of paying tribute to The Wiseman, who always stood on that side while Reigns made his entrance.
Mark Henry believes Roman Reigns will get beaten badly at WWE Bad Blood
After another brawl this week on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa challenged Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to a tag team match at WWE Bad Blood. While The American Nightmare initially refused to team with Reigns, he later signed the contract after he and Reigns were ambushed later in the show.
During a recent episode of the Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry mentioned that Reigns will be beaten up by Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. He also noted that there could be tensions between Fatu and Sikoa over who gets to pin Reigns.
"Well, I know that Solo [Sikoa] is gonna request the pin even if Jacob [Fatu] is the one that does all the work. Cody [Rhodes] would probably get bumped around, Roman [Reigns] would get something double and as soon as Jacob went to cover, Solo would be like, 'Give it here.' If that [doesn't] happen then wrestling [has] changed a lot. [Anyone pins Roman, right?] Yeah!" he said. [From 20:08 to 20:54]
It will be interesting to see if Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns can coexist at WWE Bad Blood on October 5.
