"Roman Reigns" - Real-life Bloodline member makes a bold prediction for the upcoming WWE Draft
Roman Reigns's absence has been felt on WWE's weekly product since The Tribal Chief went on a hiatus. However, a real-life Bloodline member made a bold prediction ahead of the annual Draft.
The Head of The Table plays an important role during the event as it dictates the brand's future. The Tribal Chief hasn't moved to Monday Night RAW in years and Jey Uso thinks that it won't happen during this year's event.
Speaking on WWE's YouTube channel, Jey Uso predicted Roman Reigns as the first draft pick from Friday Night SmackDown. Moreover, he stated that he would be Monday Night RAW's first pick during the two-night event:
"Roman Reigns, you know what I'm saying, if it's SmackDown. RAW side, if you want to catch the number one draft, man. I mean, I'm going to throw myself in the hat, dawg." (From 0:07 to 0:16)
Jey Uso on the original plan for Roman Reigns and former WWE Champion
The Tribal Chief's rise came out of nowhere, as Roman Reigns was the face of the company, and it was odd for a major star to be portrayed as a villain in the promotion. The star also elevated Jey Uso on Friday Night SmackDown after he became the first challenger to the title.
However, the original plan was different. Speaking on Gorilla Position, Jey Uso revealed that 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt was supposed to be The Tribal Chief's first angle on Friday Night SmackDown:
"At first, I think the first angle that Roman was supposed to have was with The Fiend, but I don't think The Fiend would have elevated The Tribal Chief the way it came through me. It was just leveling up every single week." [From 05:27 to 05:44]
The storyline with The Tribal Chief launched Jey Uso as a singles star before the creation of The Bloodline in the coming months.
