Roman Reigns squaring off against 6'2" WWE Superstar in Saudi Arabia is possible, says analyst, ahead of Survivor Series
Former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is expected to form a team for a potential battle against The Bloodline at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. However, a WWE analyst has not ruled out the possibility of the Original Tribal Chief going head-to-head with a Bloodline member in Saudi Arabia ahead of the potential WarGames Match.
The star in question is none other than Jacob Fatu. The six-foot-two-inch star destroyed Reigns a few weeks ago on SmackDown. Last night, the two almost battled before Solo Sikoa interfered and pulled The Samoan Werewolf out of the ring. Nevertheless, Reigns will team up with Cody Rhodes to lock horns with Fatu and Sikoa in a tag team match at Bad Blood.
While discussing potential directions for the storyline between the Original Tribal Chief and The Bloodline on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts dropped the idea of Fatu possibly going one-on-one against Reigns at the Crown Jewel PLE, which will take place on November 2 in Saudi Arabia. Notably, Survivor Series: WarGames will be held on November 30, 2024.
"When do we get? Would we get a Roman Reigns [vs.] Jacob Fatu match maybe at the pay-per-view [PLE] in early November? Is there a Saudi pay-per-view [PLE] then? And then Survivor Series WarGames to finally end The Bloodline? I don't know," he said. [26:22-26:36]
Who will Roman Reigns potentially team up with at WWE Survivor Series?
Over the past few months, many fans and experts suggested Roman Reigns could reunite with The Original Bloodline members, The Usos and Sami Zayn, to fight Solo Sikoa's version of the heel faction at WWE Survivor Series 2024.
Nevertheless, Sam Roberts claimed on his Notsam Wrestling podcast that The OTC could join forces with some of his former rivals for a potential WarGames Match against The Bloodline. Apart from Cody Rhodes, Sam mentioned Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and LA Knight.
"I think instead, because at one point it was like, and part of the theme of The Bloodline Rules WrestleMania 40 match was that The Bloodline is paying the cost for everybody that they have crossed over the years. I think that there may be a higher probability that a team of super babyfaces is the team that takes on The Bloodline in WarGames at Survivor Series. Kevin Owens still has unfinished beef with The Bloodline, and Randy Orton still has unfinished beef with The Bloodline. Cody Rhodes, obviously, unfinished beef with The Bloodline. It goes on and on, LA Knight, who knows?" Roberts said.
It will be interesting to see how the ongoing rivalry between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa's Bloodline evolves in the coming weeks.
