Roman Reigns teases another potential change of character just weeks after his WWE return
Roman Reigns has teased the possibility of him becoming a full-fledged heel again. At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, he returned and set his sights on Solo Sikoa.
Reigns is currently working as a babyface and feuding with the new-look Bloodline. On the first edition of SmackDown after SummerSlam, the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion single-handedly took out The Bloodline. However, on the following week, he was taken out by the faction, courtesy of the returning Jacob Fatu.
During the Power Players Summit, Reigns admitted that he enjoyed being a heel more than a babyface. The OTC felt it was easier to play the latter and that it was more interesting to play the villain. He also noted how the company had been most successful with him playing the bad guy.
“Well, the business was its most successful with me as a heel but, you know, the future looks bright so we’ll see. I think babyface is an easier side to actually perform in, but it’s so much more fun as a bad guy.” said Reigns. [H/T: Wrestle Ops on Twitter/X]
While the company has indeed been more successful when Reigns has played a heel character, he is extremely over at present and is likely to have an incredibly successful babyface run with the Stamford-based promotion. Only time will tell what WWE has in mind with The Original Tribal Chief.
Hulk Hogan believes WWE could use Roman Reigns to turn Logan Paul into a babyface
Hulk Hogan believes the best heels could often turn into the most popular babyfaces. Hence, he suggested that Logan Paul could switch up his character and turn face by helping out Roman Reigns.
Speaking on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Hogan suggested a potential scenario where Paul could turn all of the heat he has generated with the WWE Universe into instant adoration if he came out to the ring to assist an outnumbered Roman Reigns feuding against Sikoa's Bloodline.
"Watching what you're doing, you have a certain air about you that you're a really good heel naturally, and what is so cool, you're going to make one of the best babyfaces ever when they turn you. Because the more heat you get and the more they hate you, you're going to be an awesome babyface. For instance, Bloodline now, they're starting to cheer for Roman. Just a quick thought off the top of my head, when Roman comes back The Bloodline shoves and beats him like a dog and he [Logan] hits the ring to save Roman. It would get him over bam, instantly. It'll be Hulk Hogan babyface personified," he said.
Roman Reigns is currently absent from WWE television after being put through the announcer's table by The Bloodline.
