Roman Reigns won't be at an upcoming WWE premium live event for one reason, predicts ex-host
After nearly four months of absence, Roman Reigns returned to WWE at SummerSlam. However, a former WWE host thinks the Original Tribal Chief will not be on the company's upcoming premium live event.
The 39-year-old returned to SmackDown last night to brawl with Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline. Reigns has also been advertised for the upcoming episode of the blue brand. Speaking on The Wrestling Matt podcast, former RAW Talk host Matt Camp discussed the potential schedule of the Original Tribal Chief after his comeback, predicting that the former Undisputed WWE Champion might not be at Bash in Berlin on August 31.
Camp claimed that the Stamford-based company does not need Reigns to appear in Berlin. Meanwhile, he predicted that The Head of the Table would be at the next premium live event held in Saudi Arabia and Survivor Series:
"He's on SmackDown this week. He's on SmackDown next week. Is he on Bash in Berlin? I would guess no. I don't think they need him. I think he'll be on the next Saudi show. I would guess he's on Survivor Series. I could be wrong about that. They're running a significantly big place in Vancouver," he said. [53:28 - 53:56]
Will Roman Reigns move to WWE RAW?
Roman Reigns was undrafted earlier this year in the 2024 WWE Draft. Hence, The Original Tribal Chief is currently a free agent and could appear on any show. Speaking on The Wrestling Matt podcast, Matt Camp claimed the 39-year-old could move to RAW for the first time in several years.
Reigns has not been part of the RAW roster since 2019. Camp now thinks The Head of the Table could rejoin the red brand when it moves to Netflix at the beginning of next year:
"Yes, he [Roman Reigns] is a free agent. Yes, they made a point to get him out of the draft. Because the draft happened after he had lost the title, it makes all the sense in the world. No problem. So, he's out there. Sure, he could be on RAW Monday. I don't know if that's gonna be the case, but it does allow, if he remains a free agent, him to show up on RAW and maybe stay there once the Netflix deal starts," he said.
While it seems like Reigns would remain on SmackDown for some time as he feuds with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Original Tribal Chief.
