Roman Reigns will align with 3 major WWE Superstars against The Bloodline, says WWE analyst; he trusts none of them
Roman Reigns is in a heated feud with his cousin Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown. Meanwhile, a WWE analyst has claimed the Original Tribal Chief could align with three of his former rivals to fight Sikoa's group at Survivor Series.
The analyst in question is none other than Sam Roberts. The 41-year-old claimed on his Notsam Wrestling podcast that it was a matter of time before Randy Orton and Kevin Owens went after The Bloodline's WWE Tag Team Championship. He predicted that The Viper and The Prizefighter would dethrone Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa unless they got "scr**ed!"
The RAW Talk host claimed that Orton and Owens would want revenge on The Bloodline if the second scenario happened, leading them to join forces with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns in their war against Sikoa's group. The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare will unexpectedly join forces to lock horns with The Street Champ and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood.
Meanwhile, Roberts pointed out that it seemed like the storyline was heading towards Rhodes, Owens, Reigns, and Orton teaming up at Survivor Series in a WarGames Match against The Bloodline despite the erstwhile Big Dog and his potential partners not trusting each other.
"You've also got a scenario where now three of Roman Reigns' great enemies have to decide whether or not they can trust Roman Reigns in a match to stop The Bloodline. And you also got Roman Reigns, who honestly doesn't want to team with his enemies: doesn't want to trust them, but realizes, 'There's a whole family, and there's just me.' I think, based on the pieces that we have in play right now, as much as everyone was thinking old Bloodline vs. new Bloodline, I think what you're looking at for Survivor Series is Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa," he said. Can Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes work together at WWE Bad Blood?
Last Friday on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa in an Undisputed WWE Championship Steel Cage Match. However, The American Nightmare was attacked by The Bloodline after the match before Roman Reigns interfered.
Later that night, Solo Sikoa challenged the Undisputed WWE Champion and The Original Tribal Chief to a tag-team match against him and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. Although The American Nightmare initially refused to accept the challenge, he changed his mind after he and Roman Reigns were attacked again by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry predicted that Rhodes and Reigns would have a hard time working together at the upcoming PLE.
"I think it's good; I don't think they're going to work good [sic] together as a tag team because once one [of them] is in, he's going to try to finish it. You know, like, Cody's going to try to finish it on his own. Roman's getting in; the last thing he's going to do is tag Cody in to help him. So that's gonna be the demise of their being in a tag team," he said.
Reigns has yet to compete in an official match since WrestleMania XL. It will be interesting to see if he and Rhodes manage to defeat The Bloodline at Bad Blood.
