Roman Reigns will return at SummerSlam with 2 WWE legends to confront The Bloodline, says ex-employee

Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE since WrestleMania XL. However, a former WWE employee believes The Head of the Table will return this Saturday at SummerSlam, but not alone.

In Reigns' absence, Solo Sikoa took control of The Bloodline, eliminating Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso and adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Meanwhile, the former enforcer appointed himself the new Tribal Chief and claimed Reigns would have to acknowledge him if he returned. While Jimmy Uso has been away since being taken out by Sikoa and Tonga, Jey Uso has been on a solo run on RAW. Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci now thinks The Usos will reunite and return with The Head of the Table at SummerSlam.

Speaking on The Last Word, Carlucci disclosed that he is interested in seeing Cody Rhodes' match against Sikoa at SummerSlam for the possibility of watching Reigns return. He pointed out that with Jey not being booked for the premium live event and Jimmy being on hiatus, he thinks the legendary tag team will rejoin forces and re-align with their cousin to confront The Bloodline at the premium live event:

"I'm really interested in the Cody match only to the fact that I think that maybe Roman's gonna show his face and how he's gonna do it if it happens. Maybe it won't happen. I'm speculating that it will because Jey doesn't have a match, we haven't seen Jimmy in a while, and I'm speculating that he's gonna bring those two guys back with him," he said. [28:27 - 28:44]

WWE Analyst doesn't think Jimmy Uso will return with Roman Reigns

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE Analyst Sam Roberts also discussed the possibility of Roman Reigns returning at SummerSlam. He disclosed that he does not believe Jimmy Uso will return with The Head of the Table at the premium live event.

Instead, Roberts thinks Reigns will return alongside Paul Heyman. The Wiseman was last seen a few weeks ago on SmackDown when he was put through a table by The Bloodline after refusing to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief:

"I don't think he [Jimmy Uso] comes back with Roman. I think Paul comes back with Roman. I definitely don't think he's [Jimmy] in the IC Title match because again, now you're talking about monopolizing both shows," he said.

It will be interesting to see if Roman Reigns will return at SummerSlam alongside members of his original Bloodline faction and whether this leads to a WarGames match between the two versions of the group at Survivor Series, as many expect.
