Ronda Rousey set to reunite with 6-time WWE world champion at an upcoming event

Ronda Rousey is scheduled to meet with former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista (Batista) to promote her forthcoming comic book. The meeting will take place at a non-wrestling convention before the end of the month.

They both had successful careers in WWE, as The Baddest Woman on the Planet won a Royal Rumble, headlined WrestleMania, and held multiple titles. Meanwhile, The Animal is a six-time world champion, and he's one of the biggest names in Hollywood today. The two stars interacted at WrestleMania 35 before the show went on the air, and they will meet each other again publicly very soon.

It has recently been announced that Ronda Rousey will have a sit-down with Dave Bautista at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 25, to discuss her upcoming comic book, Expecting the Unexpected.

"Be treated to an action-packed, candid conversation between UFC and WWE champion, former Judoka, and actress Ronda Rousey and actor/producer and former WWE superstar Dave Bautista as they discuss Ronda’s debut graphic novel Expecting the Unexpected and their journeys after stepping out of the ring. Eisner Award–winning artist Mike Deodato, Jr., and AWA chief creative officer Axel Alonso will also join in to celebrate the book’s Kickstarter launch and the innovative creative process behind this powerful project," the statement read.

Ronda Rousey discusses possibly attending a UFC event

The Baddest Woman on the Planet is inarguably one of the biggest female MMA fighters of all time. She is recognized as the first-ever UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.

During an interview with CBS Sports, Ronda Rousey was asked whether she would sit cageside at a UFC event. She replied:

"I don’t really want to go to a stadium full of people for fun. I’d rather be out, on my farm or on the beach or something else like that. I think I just have to have a reason to go but, I don’t know. If my kids end up fighting or something like that or someone I end up coaching, you know, ends up fighting, I would go… It’s not really my scene anymore."

Ronda parted ways with WWE last year after her contract expired. Her last match was at that year's SummerSlam.
