Roxanne Perez sends bold message seconds after interrupting major announcement by The Rock's daughter Ava

Ava has issued a major announcement with championship implications for an upcoming WWE PLE. However, NXT's General Manager was interrupted by Roxanne Perez, who issued a brazen message to The Rock's daughter and the rest of the locker room.

WWE will present its second NXT No Mercy PLE on Sunday, September 1, at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. This will be the 15th No Mercy event overall. After dethroning Trick Williams as NXT Champion at Heatwave in July, Ethan Page is set to defend once again at No Mercy. He has retained over Dante Chen and Oro Mensah in recent weeks.

NXT GM Ava appeared on tonight's loaded episode to announce a #1 Contender's Triple Threat with major championship implications. It will be NXT's Wes Lee vs. RAW Superstar Pete Dunne vs. TNA's Joe Hendry on next Tuesday's show.

The winner of next week's Triple Threat will advance to No Mercy to challenge All Ego with the NXT Championship on the line. Page has never faced Lee, Dunne, or Hendry in singles action.

Perez quickly interrupted Ava and Kelly Kincaid backstage. The NXT Women's Champion addressed next week's Gauntlet Eliminator to determine her No Mercy challenger and said she got her big shot in a similar fashion by dominating the 2022 Breakout Tournament, but there's no one on her level now.

The Prodigy said she's excited to watch someone potentially become the next Roxanne Perez in this Gauntlet, but it will be a long, long time before anyone gets close to the title. The first superstars chosen for the competition were Sol Ruca, Adrianna Rizzo, and Wren Sinclair, with more names to be added, including Stevie Turner and others who have never received a title shot.
