Rumor killer on Becky Lynch's potential WWE retirement
In recent days, there have been rampant rumors of Becky Lynch potentially hanging up her wrestling boots. Liv Morgan has even claimed that she retired The Man for good after defeating her for the WWE Women's World Title in May.
A few days after losing a Women's World Championship match to Morgan on the May 27 episode of RAW, Lynch's contract with the company expired. Since then, there's been no news about what's next for her. While some fans believe she may be done with wrestling, others think she's destined to come back to the promotion.
Amid these rumors, RAW Talk's host Sam Roberts has taken to X/Twitter to issue a clarification on his comments on Becky Lynch's future. An account on the microblogging platform wrote that Roberts recently said on his podcast, NotSam Wrestling, that The Man might not set foot inside the ring again. However, Roberts has now claimed that he didn't issue the aforementioned statement.
"This didn’t happen," wrote Sam Roberts.
Becky Lynch set to make big appearance outside WWE
While wrestling fans continue to miss her, Becky Lynch has been announced for a blockbuster appearance outside of the Stamford-based promotion. The 37-year-old star will appear at the Vulture Music Festival on November 17. At the event, she's slated to talk about her memoir, The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, and go into detail about her inspirational journey to make it big in WWE.
Most interestingly, it has been teased that Lynch may reveal her future plans during the event. Considering her legion of fans has been patiently waiting for an update for several months, it's safe to assume her segment at the festival could grab a lot of eyeballs. No matter what The Man has planned for her future, there's no doubt her well-wishers will continue to support her.
