Samantha Irvin announces official departure from WWE with emotional letterĀ
Ring announcer Samantha Irvin announced her departure from WWE. The 35-year-old sent a heartfelt message to the fans and her colleagues.
Samantha Irvin joined the Stamford-based company in 2021 after being initially introduced to the promotion by Hall of Famer Mark Henry. Over the past three years, she served as a ring announcer on NXT, SmackDown, and Monday Night RAW. Meanwhile, she became one of the most popular personalities in WWE.
Irvin took to Twitter/X a few minutes ago to announce her departure from the Stamford-based company. In a heartfelt message, the former RAW ring announcer thanked the fans for their support. She also thanked the women's locker room, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, Michael Cole, and Chief Content Officer Triple H, among several others.
Meanwhile, Samantha Irvin claimed her departure does not mark "the end of her art," stating that she has a "lifetime more to share." She ended her letter with a message to her fans:
"To my fans, my entire career I've been waiting for you! We are meant to be and I can prove it. Stay tuned," she wrote.
Irvin's departure comes only a few months after her fiance, Ricochet, also left the company following the expiry of his contract. He has since joined AEW, where he is currently active in the International Championship scene.
