Samantha Irvin fires back at critics following surprise WWE exit
Samantha Irvin sent a message to the WWE Universe today on social media. The former WWE ring announcer surprisingly announced her departure from the company on October 21, 2024.
Irvin reacted to a post from an account called "WrestlingWorldCC" on X (fka Twitter) today. The post claimed that Irvin said a large portion of the WWE Universe hated her and she would get a lot of negative feedback on social media. The 35-year-old responded to the post and noted that fans could follow her because she is an open book. The ring announcer added that everything she has to say is written on her social media pages.
"If you want to get it from the source itself- follow me! I’m always answering questions and always an open book. There was never a time I wasn’t conversing with fans. ALL of these “statements” can be found right on my page in their proper context 😘 Notice I don’t go live or do interviews. I don’t post video rants or anything so everything I say is written right on my page. I’m not going to stop using this app just because some people don’t require context before they form opinions. I value conversation too much," she wrote.
Former WWE writer comments on Samantha Irvin's future
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently commented on Samantha Irvin's future in the wrestling business.
Irvin is in a relationship with former Intercontinental Champion Ricochet in real life. The One and Only left the Stamford-based company earlier this year and currently performs in All Elite Wrestling. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws show, Russo stated that he could see Irving showing up on AEW television to manage Ricochet.
"Bro, I think it's all a work. She talks about wanting to be a manager, and she wanted to be a [General Manager]... bro, can you not see her managing Ricochet at AEW? I could see that in a heartbeat, that's why I think this is one huge work."

Lilian Garcia returned to WWE last month to replace Samantha Irvin as the ring announcer on RAW. It will be fascinating to see what the future holds for Irvin.
