Samantha Irvin responds to fan who said she deserves "punishment" after posting video about Ricochet

WWE announcer Samantha Irvin has responded to a fan who tweeted that she deserves punishment after she posted a video addressed to fans on social media. Irvin had shared a short clip addressing the photo she recently shared on her Instagram account.

Ricochet was brutally attacked on this week's RAW, and it was likely his last WWE appearance. Shortly after, his real-life partner Samantha posted a picture with him, and many fans commented that he looked fine to them.

An annoyed Samantha Irvin posted a video shortly after, stating that the photo was several months old. A fan on Twitter commented on the situation and wrote that Irvin deserved "some form of punishment."

A confused Irvin responded to the fan and asked why they were making such a statement. The fan quickly backtracked and wrote that they were making a joke.

In 2021, Irvin was put on 205 Live as a ring announcer. Less than two years later, she was announced on WWE's biggest show, RAW.

Over the past two years or so, she has impressed many with her work as an announcer. Irvin doesn't shy away from displaying her emotions while sitting ringside during matches, and WWE occasionally shares clips of her reactions on its Instagram.

As for Ricochet, The One and Only might be on his way out of WWE in the coming weeks. Reports state that he won't renew his contract when it expires this summer.

At this point, it seems highly likely that Ricochet will eventually go to All Elite Wrestling, where several dream matches are in store for him.
