Sami Zayn reacts to hitting a huge milestone in his WWE career

Sami Zayn has hit a massive milestone in his WWE career as the Intercontinental Champion. Although he has held multiple singles titles in the company, no run has lasted this long.

The RAW star captured the coveted title at WrestleMania XL by defeating Gunther. He successfully defended the gold against Bron Breakker at WWE Money in the Bank last week. However, it doesn't seem like their feud is over yet, as the two stars were involved in another brawl on the latest episode of the red brand.

Two days ago, a wrestling fan tweeted on X that Sami Zayn had touched 95 days as Intercontinental Champion, his longest singles title run ever in WWE. Sami recently commented on the post, saying he's very proud of this time in his career. He thanked the fans and said it's been a great run for him.

"Very proud of this time in my career. It’s been a really great run, thanks for the support," he wrote.

Vince Russo thinks WWE playing favorites with Sami Zayn could hurt high-potential talent

Sami became the first man on the main roster to pin Gunther clean after many others failed to beat him for the Intercontinental Title. He also beat Bron Breakker clean at Money in the Bank to retain the title.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo stated that WWE booking Zayn to go over high-potential talent could end up hurting them.

"Oh, man. They've lost their minds with Sami Zayn. I'm all for having favorites, bro, but not at the expense of talents that can really, really be money, man. I'm really, really sorry, bro... They got Sami over on his comedy, not on his freaking wrestling. Comedy act in The Bloodline. That's what got him over. Now, all of a sudden, he went from that to beating Gunther and Bron Breakker. Come on," said Russo.

It'll be interesting to see whether Bron Breakker can defeat Sami Zayn if the two stars face each other again for the coveted title.
