Sami Zayn reveals strange addiction ahead of WWE SummerSlam
Sami Zayn revealed a bizarre addiction ahead of WWE SummerSlam this Saturday night in Cleveland, Ohio. The veteran will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker at the premium live event this weekend.
Breakker failed to capture the title from Zayn at WWE Money in the Bank last month. The former NXT Champion demolished Ilja Dragunov on a recent episode of WWE RAW to earn another shot at the title this weekend. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the Intercontinental Champion noted that he still gets nervous before matches due to the physical risks involved.
However, the veteran added that he is addicted to stress and it possibly needs to be that way for him to succeed. The veteran will be hosting the Sami Zayn & Friends comedy show in Cleveland during SummerSlam weekend.
"There's a lot of moving parts to it, and it's like a huge source of stress, but I think I am sickly and weirdly addicted to that stress. Maybe I live that struggle, and I need to struggle with something right up to the very end?" he said. [H/T: WrestlingInc]
WWE legend claims Sami Zayn cheated to defeat Bron Breakker at Money in the Bank
Scott Steiner is the uncle of Bron Breakker and recently suggested that Sami Zayn must have cheated to win at Money in the Bank.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Steiner claimed the Intercontinental Champion got lucky at the premium live event in Toronto. The veteran also suggested Zayn must have cheated to emerge victorious over Breakker.
"Sami, he obviously cheated. You're not gonna beat Bron on his own. He got lucky. What did he have? Brass knuckles or something? What did he hit him with? Brass knuckles or something? He pulled something out. He can't beat him one-on-one. He got lucky." [From 0:41 – 1:00]

A former WWE employee recently predicted that Bron Breakker would "terrorize" Sami Zayn before taking his Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. Zayn dethroned Gunther of the title at WrestleMania XL after The Ring General was champion for 666 days. It will be interesting to see if he can defeat Breakker again this weekend to continue his reign as Intercontinental Champion.
