Sami Zayn talks Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa on the premiere of WWE RAW on Netflix
Sami Zayn has been an integral part of the Bloodline story over the years. The former Intercontinental Champion reunited with Roman Reigns and The Usos to take on the New Bloodline in a massive WarGames match at Survivor Series, and made headlines with his recent feud against Drew McIntyre.
In a recent episode of the In The Kliq podcast, Sami Zayn addressed WWE's historic deal with Netflix and the red brand's upcoming debut episode on the streaming platform. The RAW star stated that the deal is clearly a game-changing opportunity for the company and that WWE would do everything to attract millions worldwide.
Addressing the red brand's debut episode on Netflix, Zayn stated that with the addition of two massive matches like Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa and Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk to the show, WWE made it clear that their deal with Netflix was massive.
"They've announced CM Punk versus Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns versus Solo for the Ula Fala for who's the real Tribal Chief. Both of those matches could have been on WrestleMania, but they're on RAW for the Netflix premiere, so it tells you what a big deal this is," said Sami Zayn. [2:22 onwards]
Will Sami Zayn get involved in the Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa match?
Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa one-on-one after a long wait for the prestigious Ula Fala on WWE RAW's debut on Netflix. Fans are eagerly anticipating the massive battle, which is expected to add some major twists to the Bloodline story in the future.
Since his return back at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns has been trying to take down Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline. After reuniting with The OG Bloodline, Reigns managed to defeat Sikoa and his faction in a massive WarGames match at Survivor Series. The OTC then announced a Tribal Combat match between both men, clearing that both men would keep their tribes aside.
However, it is not believable that Solo Sikoa would keep his Bloodline aside when he faces Roman Reigns on January 6. With Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso out of action, Sami Zayn coming out to help Reigns in the numbers game is quite the possibility. Time will tell what WWE has in store for the Tribal Combat match.
