Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens is incoming, but with a twist, WWE analyst says
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have waged war from their indie days and throughout their WWE career. At various points along the way, they united, both as a babyface and heel tag team.
But now, The Underdog From The Underground has re-formed The OG Bloodline on SmackDown. A babyface Zayn, with the backing of Roman Reigns and The Usos, against The Prizefighter is a huge money match for WWE, according to Matt Camp. Considering Owens has such a problem with Cody Rhodes for siding with The OTC, it seems like a fairly accurate assessment.
On Busted Open, Camp discussed the possibility of Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn after the former Universal Champion's showdown with The American Nightmare. He feels that WWE might be slowly heading towards this program on the Road to WrestleMania 41:
"Sami Zayn is going to have to answer to Kevin Owens. And amazingly, after everything they have been through—across Canadian indies, PWG, Ring of Honor, NXT, multiple pay-per-view matches, a WrestleMania match already—dare I say, we could get one of their best chapters yet if a babyface Bloodline Sami Zayn has to deal with Kevin Owens, who has been the number one, most consistent opponent of The Bloodline for the last four years," Matt Camp said. [From 23:18 onwards]
Camp added that the potential rivalry between the Canadian duo was going to be their most personal yet. Owens once had to be convinced to side with Zayn against The Bloodline, and now the latter is on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are going to be on WWE SmackDown
On the upcoming episode of SmackDown, Kevin Owens will return to confront Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The rumor is that a title contest between the two superstars will be added to the Survivor Series: WarGames match card.
Meanwhile, Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns, and The Usos continue to take on Solo Sikoa's Bloodline without a fifth member. Seth Rollins once again rejected their request this past Monday, but that was before Sikoa and clan cost him a match against Bronson Reed in the show's main event.
Nevertheless, Rollins appears adamant with his stance, which is to keep away from The OTC. This prompted WWE analyst Sam Roberts to bring up two Paul Heyman Guys who could take the fifth spot on November 30 inside WarGames.
