WWE Rumours: Samoa Joe possibly injured
It is being reported by Wrestling Inc. that Samoa Joe might be suffering from an injury. Last night at the NXT Live Event, Samoa Joe showed up and announced that he was not cleared to compete. Joe was present ringside during the main event between Shinsuke Nakamura/Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode/Andrade "Cien" Almas.
A close look at Joe’s recent bookings would raise doubts of a possible injury. On the December 10th event at Newcastle, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dillinger and Buddy Murphy defeated Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and Elias Samson. The interesting thing here was that both Joe and Nakamura had played it safe and didn't do much in the match.

Yet another observation was made during the December 12th NXT live event at the Gold Coast, which saw Nakamura and TM-61 defeat Joe and The Revival. It was noted that The Revival and TM-61 worked most of the match. On the other hand, there was some action from Roode and Dillinger but not much from Joe.
The event at Sydney a couple of days back also had a few instances that raise doubts of a possible injury to Joe. Throughout the match, there were very few high impact moves and the match went on with minimal bumps, which is very unlike Joe’s style of wrestling.
The main event was supposed to be a Fatal 4 Way match - Nakamura vs. Joe vs. Roode vs. Dillinger but was later changed to the six-man match. The crowd didn’t like this idea and expressed their frustration by booing. However, there has been no official word on Joe being injured yet.
