Second-generation WWE Superstar is a free agent; reveals next appearance
WWE Superstars often get lost in the mix as they try to make their mark in the business. Recently, second-generation star and former NXT UK Tag Team Champion Brooks Jensen announced he's a free agent.
Earlier this year, Brooks Jensen began to spiral down the card after Fallon Henley and Josh Briggs ended their alliance on WWE NXT. The trio was popular as they once held the NXT UK Tag Team Championships and were often featured weekly on the developmental brand.
However, Jensen took the worst of the disbandment, as he's been making sporadic moves on the brand. Today, Brooks Jensen on X (former Twitter) revealed that he goes by Ben Buchanan, and he's now a free agent. Moreover, he revealed his next appearance will be on the independent circuit on Saturday.
"Tomorrow marks Ben Buchanan being a free agent. What a journey it's been. I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of my journey (...) This Saturday, I've my first independent booking. I got my first match this Saturday," Jensen said.
Brooks Jensen is a second-generation WWE Superstar. Jensen's father, Bull Buchanan, previously worked for WWE during the Attitude Era and was part of The Right to Censor faction. It'll be interesting to see what Ben Buchanan does next.
Brooks Jensen was recently arrested on WWE NXT
It's hard for superstars to branch out on their own when a tag team or a faction ends. Brooks Jensen has been trying to cope after losing Josh Briggs and Fallon Henley on WWE NXT.
The star has been making some questionable choices as he's trying to make a mark on the brand. After losing to Oba Femi and Josh Briggs, Jensen spiraled further and even went off on Shawn Michaels on X.
On a recent episode of NXT, the second-generation star tried to sneak into the building. Sadly, he was arrested in the background during the show for his uncalled actions.
