Seth Rollins drops bombshell about WWE's current roster

Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins has been a cornerstone of the Stamford-based promotion for years. While he's currently captivating audiences as a beloved babyface, The Revolutionary recently dropped a bombshell about the post-WrestleMania XL roster.

Roman Reigns was portrayed as a dominant heel during his four-year reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, this dynamic shifted after Cody Rhodes defeated him for the title.

The OTC's return as a top babyface marked a significant change in his character. Similarly, other stars such as Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, and even Rollins, who were once formidable heels, have now transitioned to babyface roles.

During an appearance on The Pivot podcast, the WWE former World Heavyweight Champion dropped a bombshell, expressing concern about the lack of compelling heels in the current wrestling scene. Seth Rollins noted that while the industry is experiencing a positive period, there's a missed opportunity to capitalize on the cyclical nature of the business by introducing strong, captivating villains:

"You've got this era where everything is just clicking and people are loving so much of what's going on and I'm looking around and thinking, 'Oh man, we're missing some good heels around here, we're missing some good ones.' But the business is cyclical and you just have to ride the waves that are given to you and figure out how to make the most money you can off of that," he said. [From 14:40 to 15:05]

Seth Rollins picked up a big win at WWE Crown Jewel

The Visionary went one-on-one with Bronson Reed at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia. The former WWE Universal Championship left no stone unturned to exact revenge on his opponent at Crown Jewel.

Seth Rollins defeated The Aus-Zilla with a thunderous Superstomp from the top rope. Undeterred, Bronson Reed rose to his feet after the match and warned the 38-year-old star that their rivalry was far from over.

On the November 4th edition of Monday Night RAW, The Colossal interfered in The Architect's Fatal Four Way match, preventing him from becoming the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

Only time will tell if a potential Bronson Reed vs. Seth Rollins match is in the cards for the 2024 Survivor Series PLE.
