Seth Rollins gets 'attacked' at first public appearance in over a month amid WWE hiatus
WWE RAW star Seth Rollins was 'attacked' during a public appearance today. The Visionary has not appeared on the red brand since he was brutally attacked by Bronson Reed on August 5.
Seth Rollins is a massive Chicago Bears fan and was in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis today to watch his favorite team play the Colts. Former Indianapolis Colts receiver TY Hilton was next to Rollins for the game and humorously dumped the World Heavyweight Champion over the barricade and onto the field, as seen in the video below.
Rollins served as the Special Guest referee for the singles match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk at WWE SummerSlam. Punk hit Rollins with a GTS during the match, and the former champion attempted to confront the 45-year-old on the August 5 edition of WWE RAW. However, Bronson Reed attacked Seth Rollins out of nowhere and sent the 38-year-old home in an ambulance. Rollins has not returned to the red brand since the attack last month.
Former WWE writer predicts Seth Rollins will defeat Bronson Reed when he returns to RAW
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes Seth Rollins will defeat Bronson Reed when he returns to action.
Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo claimed that Rollins would eventually emerge victorious in his rivalry with Reed. He noted that Bronson Reed would likely return to the same spot on the card after the rivalry.
"Please make a note on this day when everybody was saying, ‘Oh that is how you make somebody,’ and everybody is carrying on like complete idiots online. Please mark down August 5th, 2024, Vince said that Seth Rollins didn’t have an opponent so they had Bronson Reed splash Seth numerous times only for them to have a match and Seth go over Bronson Reed and then Reed will be right back to where he was. Can somebody jot that note down please?" [From 48:14 onwards]

Rollins is married to Becky Lynch in real life. The former Women's World Champion is also on hiatus at the moment, and her WWE contract reportedly expired earlier this year. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for Rollins when he makes his return to WWE television.
